The digital signal suffers from different problems than the analog signal.
A good analog cable design will probably not sound as transparent as a
properly done digital cable. The consistent 75 ohm impedance and high
bandwidth throughout the cable minimizes jitter and signal degradation.


The JM75 digital cable is a high bandwidth (3GHz), double shielded
(foil+braid), teflon insulated using a 18 gauge solid copper conductor
75 ohm coaxial design. Termination is done via Canare BNC 75 ohm
and RCA high bandwidth plugs using crimping techniques with
proprietary tools to ensure consistent professional termination.
Construction takes great care and attention to detail to produce
a cable that will look and sound good for many years.
The cable is then tested and put through a 24 hours break-in period
where it's submitted to a high current signal to help form the teflon dielectric.


This cable is symmetrical in construction, but it should be placed in the
system following the arrows for signal flow. They indicate how the cable
was positioned during break-in. BNC termination provides higher
bandwidth and is recommended if the components in use have the appropriate connectors.
